Why?
Because i was blessed with 2 super awesome jobs, one being an EFY counselor. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life thus far. I got to spend 4 weeks with youth of the church and laugh and play and strengthen my knowledge and love for the gospel with them. They became my children for the week and sometimes i start to cry when i think about how much i miss them. They will forever be in my heart!
Today i am wishing so badly that i could just go back and do it again. Because i loved every single second of it. These kids were so much of the reason i decided to serve a mission. They believed in me and their testimonies were inspiring. I can't help but be so proud of them as i see them growing up, going to college, and preparing for missions themselves. And to think the Lord allowed me to be an instrument through him and help them in some small way, is pretty much the coolest thing ever.
So, shout out to every single EFY lover out there. The kids, counselors and coordinators. This post is for you. Oh how we wish we could be at EFY 52 weeks a year. If there was someway this could be my job for the rest of my life...i'd do it in a heartbeat.
